To nurture growth, education, and community for all ages.
Generations Early Learning & Family Center is a division of The St. Francis Foundation, a non-profit corporation established in 1985. We currently operate within the Mt. Baker Care Center and Summit Place Assisted Living.
The primary purpose of our center has always been to provide a unique early childhood education program within a residential care facility, which will benefit the residents, children, families, and staff members through mutual interactions and continuing relationships. Quality early childhood care and education programs allow parents to engage in work and other activities with the assurance that their children are in a safe environment that promotes health, happiness, and well-being.

Intergenerational Activities Update:
Intergen is finally BACK!
It’s been a long 3 years but we’re so excited to get back to what we love most and what we do best: growing a multigenerational living-learning environment. We are not only continuing our relationship with the residents of Summit Place Assisted Living & Mt Baker Care Center (with all the masking precautions necessary!!) but we are also starting a new relationship with our neighbors at Solstice Senior Living at Bellingham!
We couldn’t be more excited to have all of our kiddos and Grandfriends together again- smiling, singing, and laughing together!
Presenting the
Trisha Lewis Angel Fund and Memorial Angel
Our emergency financial assistance fund is there to help families in times of emergency to pay their childcare bill. This fund is named in memory of our Assistant Director, Trisha Lewis, who passed after her battle with cancer in April of 2020. She had a lifelong passion for serving families and children.
We are providing funding for this program by selling Trisha Memorial Angels. Angels will be sold year round, and a new angel will be picked annually by her loved ones. We hope that people from all across her life are able to collect their special Trisha angels annually and hold them close while supporting something she was so passionate about.
To purchase a Trisha Lewis Memorial Angel and support the Trisha Lewis Angel Fund, please send your order form and payment to Generations ELFC.
St. Francis Childcare is a Non-Profit 501-C3 Organization and all donations are tax-deductible.
We appreciate your support!
