Administrative Team
The Admin team works both on the floor and behind the scenes to keep our program running smoothly.
From left to right-
Roseve Winchell - Program Manager: Roseve started at Generations in October 2016 while studying French at WWU. After graduating, she shifted into the role of Admin Assistant and now to the role of Program Manager. Since starting in Admin, she has completed her AA in Early Childhood Education and a Masters degree in Elementary Education. She hopes to continue using this experience and schooling in the world of Early Learning. In her free time, Roseve is a Girl Scout troop leader and loves to camp, craft & she sings jazz music.
Heidi Bugbee - Executive Director: Heidi started as the Director of St. Francis Childcare in 2005 after starting her career in Head Start as a preschool teacher and home visitor. She has grown our program in many ways over the years, her biggest accomplishment- keeping our program alive through the move out of St. Francis Skilled Nursing & growing into our new home at Summit Place Assisted Living & Mt Baker Care Center with a new name: Generations Early Learning & Family Center. She brings two of her passions together at Generations, keeping the magical blend of old and young at the heart of our program. In her free time, Heidi loves spending time with her family and grandkids, spending time at the beach, travelling, and enjoying live music.
Angela Memory - Administrative Assistant: Angela found her way to Bellingham after graduating from University of Cincinnati with a BA in Psychology. She found Generations in 2015 as an AmeriCorps volunteer and loved her time here so much that she started on staff in the following year as a Teacher’s Assistant. After being in the classroom for 3 years, Angela started in the office and became the Administrative Assistant in 2022. In her free time, she loves exploring the outdoors any way she can- running, hiking, mountain biking, climbing, and snowboarding!
Renee Morey - Teacher Support Specialist: Renee joined our team in August of 2023 as the Teacher Support Specialist. This new position balances the needs of our administrative team and our teaching staff, providing additional professional support to the teachers as they plan their lessons, use the curriculum resources, and complete child assessments and individualization. She mentors the teachers in their team dynamics and assists with staff training, hiring, and professional development. Renee has been in the field of Early Childhood Education for 20 years in Head Start and ECEAP with the Opportunity Council both in the classroom and in supervisory roles.
